On Friday February third we left for a small village located 45 minutes outside of Jutiapa. Jutiapa is located 90 miles south from Guatemala City, the people there are very simple, working the fields planting corn, and herding cattle. We did not know what to expect, as we were told by our host Pastor Rafael, that the people were suffering from respiratory problems. We were blessed to serve 155 patients of which 30 accepted the Lord as their savior. What a privilege it was to serve such a needy community, out of the 155 patients, 130 were affected by water born diseases. We shared basic hygiene techniques with our patients in hopes to control the outbreak of infections. All in all the clinic was a huge success, 30 new people are now part of the body of Christ, and the next time by faith we will have triple the amount of people accepting the Lord!
